Actions

Connect customer conversations to verified lookups and confirmed operations in your systems.

10 practical guides

Make the next step useful and controlled.

Actions connect a specific customer task to current information or an approved operation. Define the purpose, inputs, identity requirements, provider contract and allowed results before enabling. Business supports reads; Scale adds approved writes with exact customer confirmation. The connected business system remains responsible for record ownership, business rules and safe operation replay.

Start with one bounded task and use the configuration, field-mapping and testing guides together. For a custom endpoint, review the HTTP and network contracts rather than exposing a general provider API. Native order lookups and built-in requests have their own flows. Test unauthorized records and uncertain outcomes as carefully as success; a timeout is not proof that a write did nothing, and a recorded request is not an approved refund.

  3. ExecuteRead or explicitly confirmed write
  4. PresentAllowed results and a clear status

Only the authorized, mapped outcome should become part of the customer’s answer.
